Position Summary: Build and Own Marketing
Frankensolar is entering its next phase of growth, and we are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our marketing function.
This is not a coordination role, it is a strategic and execution-driven position where you will define the marketing direction, build strong industry partnerships, and directly contribute to revenue growth.
You will develop and execute marketing strategies that strengthen our position in commercial solar, flat roof racking, and battery storage, while supporting our sales team with qualified leads, campaigns, and tools that drive results.
This is currently a standalone role, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the function grows.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Ownership
- Develop and execute Frankensolar’s overall marketing strategy and annual plan
- Define clear positioning and messaging across key product segments
- Own the marketing budget and allocate resources for maximum ROI
- Track performance and continuously optimize campaigns
Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Build campaigns that generate qualified leads for the sales team
- Create sales enablement tools, messaging, and customer-facing materials
- Work closely with sales to align on priorities, pipeline, and market opportunities
Vendor Partnerships & Co-op Marketing
- Build strong relationships with manufacturer partners
- Develop and manage co-op marketing programs, sponsorships, and vendor-funded initiatives
- Identify opportunities for vendors to support events, campaigns, and customer engagement
Events & Industry Presence
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of trade shows, customer events, and roadshows
- Ensure professional execution including logistics, materials, and on-site presence
- Increase participation in partner and customer events to expand market visibility
Content & Campaigns
- Oversee creation of compelling marketing content (digital, print, video, social)
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging
- Drive targeted campaigns for installers, dealers, and commercial clients
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a technical or distribution environment
- Proven ability to own marketing strategy independently, not just execute tasks
- Strong experience with vendor partnerships, co-op programs, or sponsorship-driven marketing
- Track record of supporting sales teams with lead generation and revenue impact
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives end-to-end
- Experience planning and executing events and tradeshows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, electrical distribution, or construction-related industries
- Experience managing or working with remote or outsourced marketing support
- People management experience or readiness to build a team
- Comfortable using AI tools to increase marketing efficiency
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary: $70,000 – $80,000 (higher for exceptional candidates)
